Aconitum napellus
Monkshood, Wolf's bane
All parts are poisonous. I've never had any issues what so ever growing it although there are articles on the internet that say that even touching it can cause skin issues.
This was another saved plant from the abandoned homestead by Blackfald's. Alberta. I'm sure glad I grabbed it as I hear that the town is planning on turning that spot into a parking lot.

Agastache foeniculum
Originally wild collected in the Rocky Mountain House area. I now have it established in the garden.
This is one of those plants that should be placed along a path so that one can brush by it, releasing that incredible anise scent. I think it's wonderful.
Foliage and flowers are used in tea and bees LOVE this plant. Can be used as a odorous pest repellent.
Also used in many herbal teas.

Agastache foeniculum 'Liquorice White'
Gorgeous! I love agastache - hyssop. I jumped on adding this one to the garden, liquorice white, how could I refuse. I'm a huge fan of anything smelling like licorice. It does have a hint of licorice but certainly not like the purple flowered agastache that I also grow. It has more of a minty tone.
Still beautiful and a great addition to the garden.

Aquilegia vulgaris 'Black Barlow"
One of my favourites for sure. This plant did not bloom at all in 2018, much to my chagrin. This past summer, 2019, this plant bloomed enough for last year and 5 more plants all together, if that makes sense. At one point I'm sure it had over 30 blooms on it, simply outstanding.
Wow, and super growth 2020. If you want more than the 50+ seeds give me a shout.
